Set up a goal

Watch this video to understand how to set up a goal in your CMS.

  1. Sign in to your platform.
  2. Type /CMS after the platform URL.
  3. Use the left-hand menu to select 'Goals'.
  4. Use the 'New goal' button.
  5. Type a title.
  6. Type a URL slug (eg. goal-name)
  7. Set a goal description. What is the goal setting out to do?
  8. Set an accountability partner term. You could use 'goal buddy', 'social prescriber', 'goal mentor' or something else.
  9. Add the name of this person.
  10. Set a low score number. This will trigger an alert, so if you have 5 statements (max points 5 x 5 statements), you'll probably want the low score around 5-10 points.
  11. Set a low score message. This is what members will see when they score low. Something supportive, or a contact number for more help could be good to include!
  1. Sign in to your platform.
  2. Type /CMS after the platform URL.
  3. Use the left-hand menu to select 'Goals'.
  4. Use the cog icon to edit the goal.
  5. Scroll down and use the 'new question' button.
  6. Add a statement, or a question. (I've been able to make up my own mind about things.)
  7. Use the 'submit' button.

  3. Use the left-hand menu to select 'Goals'.
  4. Use the cog icon to edit the goal.
  5. Scroll down and use the 'new action' button.
  6. Add a short title. EG. Ask for ideas from others.
  7. Add a short description. EG. Reach out to your community to ask for ideas about how you can make progress.
  8. Add an icon. Open the 'pro-tip' dropdown to see the link to a list of icon codes. Copy one to add an icon, like 'handshake' or 'team'.
  9. Add a URL.
  10. Use the 'add action' button to save.
