A section of a guide is like a chapter in a book. You need to plan how to arrange your pages within sections in order to create a guide that will flow and make sense for the user.
Add a new section to a guide by:
- Sign into your platform.
- Type /CMS after the platform URL.
- Use the left-hand menu to select 'Guides' then 'All guides'.
- Use the title hyperlink to go into your guide.
- Use the button to 'Add new section'.
- Type a title.
- Leave the URL to auto generate unless you want something different to the title.
- Add an introduction. 1-2 sentences work best.
- Save.
Guide sections can be ordered in two ways:
- When you create a new section, change the number in the 'order' field.
- Re-order sections using the arrows in the main page for your guide.
