Tag or approve activity badges

Use this tutorial video to see how you can approve activities that users have tagged with an activity badge or tag an activity badge to an existing activity yourself.

There two methods for attaching a badge to an activity.

If you have enabled users to tag a badge during their activity set-up, you will check each badge tag as part of your process for approving activities.

You can also tag badges to an activity yourself in the CMS.

To approve a badge that a member has tagged to an activity:

  1. You will have been sent a notification email that an activity needs approval.
  2. You can use this email link to sign in and go straight to the activity page.
  3. Review the information submitted with the activity.
  4. Review the Best Match tags and the Badges tagged to the activity.
  5. Use the drop down filter drawers to remove or add a new tag.
  6. Save

To tag an activity with a badge:

  • Sign into your platform.
  • Type /CMS after the platform URL.
  • Use the left-hand menu to select 'Activities'.
  • Select the type of activity you wish to find and tag (eg Events or Offers).
  • Search for an activity using the search bar, or by scrolling and navigating through the list (split over several pages).
  • Select the cog icon on the right-hand side to edit an activity.
  • Select the 'step 3' page to edit the Best Match.
  • Use the drop-down filter called 'Badges' to tag badges to that activity.
  • Save.
  • Check that the activity status is set to 'live' if you want it to appear on the platform.
