Campaign stats

Understand how to find and view the stats for your campaigns within your CMS.

In this video, we're going to look at how you can find out some stats about your campaign using Google Analytics.

To quickly access your Google Analytics, just sign into your CMS dashboard and use the quick link to view your Google Analytics. This will bring you to your home page of Google Analytics, it might look different depending on which level of Google Analytics you've got.

You could either use the left hand navigation to find the area you want to go to, or if you've got a reports dashboards setup like this you can scroll and look at the pages report.

You can filter the pages report by however many days you want it to be, just use the apply button.

If you scroll down, you can see highest numbers of pages that have been viewed and the amount of time that has been spent on the page. To look at this in the context of the campaign, if you search the general word ‘campaign’ for this and you can see what sort of stats you’re getting about different campaigns.

So the campaign page has been viewed by unique visitors 100 times and the highest visited campaign is this one and then some of your other campaigns coming with 1 view, 74 views and then they drop down like that.

You can use different dimensions if you want to compare campaign page names against other things, so it might be how many views your campaign had when it came from a referral perhaps.

The most popular way that anyone found any campaign was this campaign, ‘The Shuri Network’ which was found by a direct link, same with AnalystX, that was direct but then via Google is the most common number 3 and number 4 with the amount of views and how they got to seeing that.

So you can find out all sorts of stats, like how long people spend on pages and comparing/analysing that based on where they found it from.

There's lots of information by Google Analytics themselves we just thought we'd give you a quick look at how you can check on how many views your campaign’s getting and where it’s being shared from.

Campaigns are currently monitored by Google Analytics.

Make sure your email is set up to work with Google and your NI can then give you access.

Visit the 'Page management' section of your analytics dashboard and search for your campaign.
