Get started:

Please note: processes and wordings may differ slightly on your platform.

For the activity owner of the volunteering request:

  • Navigate to your dashboard.
  • Navigate to the manage activities section.
  • Find the volunteer activity you wish to manage, then use the spanner icon.
  • Add the number of hours completed next to each volunteer.
  • Write a thank you message and mark that they did this.

For the volunteer who pledged to volunteer:

Your volunteering hours are logged by the member who listed the volunteering opportunity.

This member will either:

or

  • log your hours at regular intervals if the opportunity is ongoing

To inform the member who listed the volunteering opportunity that you have completed hours:

  • Visit your 'Dashboard' via 'Your account' menu.
  • Use the link to 'My actions' (or similar).
  • Locate the accepted volunteering opportunity within your actions list.
  • Select the amount of hours completed.
  • Add an optional message to the member.
  • Use the 'I did this' button to send a notification to the member.
  • Wait for the member to review your hours request.
  • Logged hours will be recorded in your social CV.
