Welcome to Made Open
One of our aims at Made Open is to activate communities and networks as a force for good. The modular nature of our software gives you the flexibility to respond to the needs of your community and partners with features that help them connect, collaborate and achieve their goals.
Licensing our platform gives you complete control over your branding, content and features. You are the data controller and maintain responsibility for administration, supporting your members and developing possible partnerships for revenue raising purposes – ensuring the sustainability of your platform.
This guide will help you to set up your community platform and provide you with essential information and contact details.
Your service from us
Your White Label Agreement states the level of service you receive from us. All clients are entitled to report technical bugs and issues to our team. Clients on the higher payment models are also entitled to a certain amount of developments and feedback consideration.
We consider you, the Community Connector as our client and your platform coordinators are your clients. We ask that you communicate directly with your coordinators and funnel all their reports, issues and feedback through you before you communicate them with us. This ensures that you are in control of communications with your clients and also prevents time wasting from multiple coordinators asking the same query.
How we make bug fixes and new developments
We follow an agile software development workflow. Our development team work in a pattern of 2 weeks 'sprint cycles'. During each sprint, time is allocated to team members for a range of tasks covering design, technical investigation, feature development, bug fixes, system improvement and maintenance.
We use Jira to manage our software development workflow. You will use our service portal (through Jira) to report and track any technical issues.
