- Visit your parent platform.
- Sign in using your community connector email and password.
- You'll be automatically re-directed to the community connector control panel.
- Use the big button at the top of the page to 'create new platform'.
- Select a toggle to set which payment model the platform will be using. (eg member-pay).
- Type the name of the platform into the field 'platform name'.
- Type the platform sub domain - this will likely be the name of the platform (eg northtimebank).
- Choose the platform domain from the drop-down.
- Choose the filter to be set to the Primary Filter from the drop-down.
- Type a main title for the platform's homepage (eg Welcome to North Timebank).
- Type a strapline for the platform's homepage (eg Building a better community)
- Use the 'yes / no' toggles to set the following settings:
- Only show member stream to logged in members.
- Allow members to message all members (this lets members see other members on the platform in their 'new message' box, otherwise they will only see connections).
- Hide user profiles to logged out users.
- Enable contact fields in profiles.
- Allow negative credits (Timebank only).
- Allow members of this platform to share their activities on the main/global/county platform.
- Show completed profiles in the members stream (and hide incomplete profiles).
- Hide activity sharing on social media.
- Select which feature(s) will be enabled on the platform.
- Choose the timezone, date & time settings from the drop-down options depending on where the platform is located.
- Choose whether to upload a platform logo & icon, or whether to use the initials of the platform name (eg NT).
- Choose a platform colour.
- Choose a homepage image from the library options, or upload your own.
- Set the default map position either by typing latitude & longitude or by dragging the red pin on Google Maps.
- Enter the contact details for at least one coordinator. These will be used to populate the platform's T&Cs and contact pages.
- Enter the platform address settings. These will be used to populate the platform's T&Cs pages.
- Press or click the 'set up platform' button.
