Managing your collection of platforms
As a community connector, you can control a wide variety of features and settings for all of your platforms via the Control Panel.
The Control Panel has all of the settings that are universal. This means that they will change and affect all of your community platforms at the same time.
The Control Panel is accessed only by one community connector account. Your permission will be first set up by Made Open.
What can you do in the Control Panel?
- Set core details about you and your organisation. These will be used to auto-populate T&Cs.
- Create custom forms to ask information of new users when they apply for the platform. (eg a 'join the timebank' form)
- Set a few member account types for users to choose from when they create an account. (eg individual, group or organisation)
- Set multiple search filter lists and tags. Coordinators of community platforms don't have to keep all of these, they can opt in and out. (eg interests or needs)
- Create a few pages and control whether or not coordinators can customise the templates on their own platform. (eg help, privacy policies and core information)
How to access the control panel
- Visit your main/global/county platform.
- Sign in using your community connector email and password.
- You'll be automatically re-directed to the community connector control panel.
