We're delighted to share that NHS Talent Timebanking has won the Dedication to a Lifelong Learning Culture Award at the Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards 2026.
The award recognises organisations and teams that help people learn, develop and grow throughout their careers.
Talent Timebanking brings together people from across health and social care to share skills, knowledge and experience. The idea is simple: members earn credits by sharing their time, skills and expertise, which they can then use to access coaching, mentoring, advice and learning opportunities from others across the health and care community. In doing so, the platform helps unlock the wealth of knowledge and experience that already exists within the workforce.
The award was accepted by Wilfred Deley, Sapna Subhash, Karen Chummun and Halima Chowe, whose hard work and commitment have helped Talent Timebanking grow into the thriving community it is today. It is also a recognition of the many people who contribute their time, expertise and support to help others succeed.
We're especially proud that the NHS is using Made Open's community software to power Talent Timebanking. It's fantastic to see how our platform is helping to connect people, encourage knowledge-sharing and support learning and development across the health and care workforce. Seeing Talent Timebanking receive national recognition is a testament to the vision and dedication of the team behind it, and the impact they are making across the sector.
