Account Manager at Made Open
I look after our network of clients and make sure that their platforms are bursting with useful content.
When you take on a new platform with us, I take your hand through the set up phase. I will initiate you into our 'family' (processes, vision, network etc) and gently guide you through a busy period of decision making. We will then launch your platform to the world ... or your lovely corner of it ... and I will then help you focus on growing your community's impact.
Impact is my next passion. We became a Certified B Corporation in Febraury 2020 and I led this process. I helped our team solidify their vision and work through the B Corp Impact Assessment. I've been working on improvement projects ever since so that, when we recertify in 2023, our score will hopefully improve further.
Recording your impact as a community developer and capturing your users' stories via film, audio or image is my comfort zone. I spent a lot of lovely hours (& ££s!) studying film production at Falmouth University. It's always nice to lean on those skills and make films for you that celebrate your hard work.
Away from the computer screen, I'm renovating an old Cornish cottage with my partner (when he's not sent away to sea) and continuing to teach piano to a group of teenagers.
