Our software supports new 'digital marketplace’ for businesses.

Unlocking Potential and Software Cornwall have chosen our software to connect tech businesses based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with other businesses who want to up their digital game.

The aim of the new platform called ‘Ping Digital’ is to increase collaboration between digital businesses and other businesses, by bringing them together online.

Speaking about the project, Nathan Jeffery, Programme Manager for Digital Transformation at Unlocking Potential said:

 
 

Made Open’s software offers us the ability to create an online marketplace that supports digitisation and digital transformation for businesses across Cornwall. Not only will it help digital businesses grow and increase market reach, it will also help other businesses to increase productivity and competitiveness through better access to digital skills and solutions.

Ping Digital was introduced to the Cornish business community at Unlocking Potential’s 20 year celebration breakfast in February 2023. Here, Nathan explained how the platform has been developed with businesses current and future digital needs at its heart:

"During the co-design phase, buyers told us that they need help and support to understand how digital technology might help them solve a business problem. They want to be more connected and more informed about what options are available to them. Ping Digital helps to break down boundaries, builds trust, and make it easier for suppliers to communicate with new and potential buyers."

Businesses are being encouraged to register on this free platform and showcase their expertise. Once approved, members can add their requests, offers or events for others to find. Social networking and team features enhance the user experience; making is easy for members to connect, chat and collaborate on projects.

The platform was formally launched to the business community in March 2023.
