Regional Development Manager - Foster Wales (Mid & West Wales)

Foster Wales is the national network of all 22 Welsh Local Authority Fostering Services, dedicated to working together with foster carers to create brighter and better futures for local children in our care by helping them stay in their local area when it’s right for them.

"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" and as such working together all 22 fostering services can improve consistency across wales, share best practice and combine our effort in a competitive environment, to improve not for profit local authority foster care in Wales.

I will be working with the Fostering Teams, Foster Carers and the children they care for across Mid & West Wales which covers Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigon and Powys as well as national, regional and local colleagues to develop and action priorities, work programmes and to ensure that effective systems are in place for co-production, engagement, information sharing and collaboration.
