Enable other members to link to your profile

Member associations

Individual members can link with your group or organisational account if you set up member associations.

This feature is great for connecting employees, volunteers or students to their respective organisations, and it's easy to set up and customise associations (e.g. "I work for...", "I volunteer at...").

Your company, group or organisation can show their impact in your community by asking individuals to link their profile to yours.

Watch this video to understand how an organisaton, network, college or teacher can set up their profile to allow their members/volunteers/students/associates to link to your account.

  1. Sign in to your platform.
  2. Use the main menu to find 'Edit profile'.
  3. Scroll to see two options to verify your account and enable member associations.
  4. You will not be able to enable member associations without also verifying your account.
  5. Choose the type of associations you'll be accepting from the drop-down. This will be categories like 'students', 'volunteers' or 'members'.
  6. Save these changes and your admin team will review your profile.
  7. Please note that your admin team will not be able to verify an incomplete profile, so make sure you have:
    1. Filled in all of the fields on the 'edit profile' page.
    2. Chosen 'Best Match' tags.
    3. Customised your 'settings'.
  8. Once approved, you will receive an email and a platform notification.
  9. If you are rejected, your admin team will have explained why and you can make changes to your profile before applying again.

Once verified, you'll be able to invite your members/students/volunteers etc to link their individual profiles with your profile.
