Hi everyone,
My name is Chris and I'm part of the Community Resources Team at Bristol City Council. Our team are responsible for managing Can Do Bristol, a Made Open platform!
I think it's fairly obvious, but we will all have at least two things in common:
- We all licence Made Open technology
- One way or another, we're all interested in supporting citizens to do good.
I know I'd really benefit from connecting with you all to discuss best practise, developments that would work for us all and shared vision.
But the question is, Am I the only one?
Hi Chris - we do this in Wales among the 7 Connect platforms and I find it an incredibly useful forum to be a part of. I can certainly ask MO and colleagues if we could extend the reach of that to England based platforms?
Thanks Lee. Robert did mention your Connect network. I wouldn't want to detract from the specific agenda you might have for now... but maybe we could have an online get together for now?
Hi Chris, our agenda is pretty much as you said - share best practice, marketing tips, and developments. I think there's great value in at least giving a wider network a go and seeing if there is an appetite for it - if we go for an online session, maybe we could invite all MO platform licensees around the world?
Sounds good to me Lee. Even if as a one-off to start with, it would be great to touch base with everyone. I'd be happy to help shape it with you or just join in!
